Insviewers

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 17, 2026 · Operated by Insviewers

Instagram Viewer is operated by Insviewers. In plain language:

No account needed

You browse story feeds without signing in. We don’t ask for your name, your Instagram login, or your password. A username you enter is used on demand to fetch a public feed and isn’t linked to a personal profile of you.

What stays on demand

Feeds are fetched when you ask for them and aren’t kept afterwards. Each lookup is a fresh snapshot; we don’t build a browsing history tied to you, and we don’t access private accounts.

Technical logs

Our servers may keep basic technical logs (such as IP address and request time) for security, abuse prevention and reliability. We don’t use those logs to build an advertising profile of you.

Cookies & storage

Settings you choose, such as theme and recent lookups, are kept in your browser’s local storage and never leave your device. Separately, the third-party advertising and measurement services described below set their own cookies and similar identifiers. Advertising cookies in particular can be read across other sites in the same ad network, which is how personalised ads work. See “Your privacy choices” for how to limit or turn these off.

Advertising

Insviewers is free and paid for by advertising. We use Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar identifiers to select, deliver and measure ads, including personalised ads based on your previous visits to this site and to other sites. You can review or switch off personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Mediavine Programmatic Advertising (Ver 1.1)

The Website works with Mediavine to manage third-party interest-based advertising appearing on the Website. Mediavine serves content and advertisements when you visit the Website, which may use first and third-party cookies. A cookie is a small text file which is sent to your computer or mobile device (referred to in this policy as a “device”) by the web server so that a website can remember some information about your browsing activity on the Website.

First party cookies are created by the website that you are visiting. A third-party cookie is frequently used in behavioral advertising and analytics and is created by a domain other than the website you are visiting. Third-party cookies, tags, pixels, beacons and other similar technologies (collectively, “Tags”) may be placed on the Website to monitor interaction with advertising content and to target and optimize advertising. Each internet browser has functionality so that you can block both first and third-party cookies and clear your browser’s cache. The "help" feature of the menu bar on most browsers will tell you how to stop accepting new cookies, how to receive notification of new cookies, how to disable existing cookies and how to clear your browser’s cache. For more information about cookies and how to disable them, you can consult the information at All About Cookies.

Without cookies you may not be able to take full advantage of the Website content and features. Please note that rejecting cookies does not mean that you will no longer see ads when you visit our Site. In the event you opt-out, you will still see non-personalized advertisements on the Website.

The Website collects the following data using a cookie when serving personalized ads:

  • IP Address
  • Operating System type
  • Operating System version
  • Device Type
  • Language of the website
  • Web browser type
  • Email (in hashed form)

Mediavine Partners (companies listed below with whom Mediavine shares data) may also use this data to link to other end user information the partner has independently collected to deliver targeted advertisements. Mediavine Partners may also separately collect data about end users from other sources, such as advertising IDs or pixels, and link that data to data collected from Mediavine publishers in order to provide interest-based advertising across your online experience, including devices, browsers and apps. This data includes usage data, cookie information, device information, information about interactions between users and advertisements and websites, geolocation data, traffic data, and information about a visitor’s referral source to a particular website. Mediavine Partners may also create unique IDs to create audience segments, which are used to provide targeted advertising.

If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices to opt-in or opt-out of this data collection, please visit National Advertising Initiative opt out page. You may also visit Digital Advertising Alliance website and Network Advertising Initiative website to learn more information about interest-based advertising. You may download the AppChoices app at Digital Advertising Alliance’s AppChoices app to opt out in connection with mobile apps, or use the platform controls on your mobile device to opt out.

For specific information about Mediavine Partners, the data each collects and their data collection and privacy policies, please visit Mediavine Partners.

Analytics & session measurement

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get used, and Microsoft Clarity to understand how pages are actually used — clicks, scrolling and pointer movement, which Clarity can replay as a session recording. Anything you type into this site is masked by Clarity before it is sent. We use this only to find usability problems, never to identify you. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and read Microsoft’s terms and opt-out at clarity.microsoft.com/terms.

Your privacy choices

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through a Google-certified consent management platform before advertising and measurement cookies are used, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the privacy settings link on this site. If you are in a US state with an applicable privacy law, you can use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link to opt out, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals where required. Wherever you are, your browser can block or delete cookies for this site.

Public profile data

Viewer results come from public Instagram profile surfaces selected by a username lookup. The site does not ask you to upload private content, does not request your Instagram credentials, and does not try to reveal private accounts, hidden posts, private messages or follower-only material.

How long data is kept

The viewer result is generated for the current request. We may keep short technical logs for security, abuse prevention and uptime checks, but those logs are not a permanent profile archive and are not used to build a personal browsing history.

Public data & GDPR

A feed shows content that is already public on Instagram. Public pages can still include personal data protected by laws such as the GDPR. If you believe something shown here should be removed, contact us to request a takedown.

Copyright & takedown

Insviewers hosts no Instagram content and is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta. If you own rights in material shown through this site and believe it is being used unlawfully, email [email protected] with the page URL, a description of the work, and confirmation that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We remove or block verified material promptly.
